Cole Palmer is set to miss the goal bonus.
The Chelsea star tied with Manchester City striker Erling Haaland in the Premier League Golden Boot race after scoring four goals during the Blues’ thumping win over Everton on Monday night.

But The Sun reports that regardless of whether he claims the prize or not, there will be no extra money coming his way because Palmer did not negotiate a bonus in the deal that brought him to Stamford Bridge last summer.
The 21-year-old came through Manchester City’s youth academy before making 41 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Despite being highly rated by City, Palmer made the decision to leave the treble winners as he looked to move on and establish himself as one of the top performers in the Premier League.
Given that he was competing with Phil Foden, Julian Alvarez, Bernardo Silva, Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku for a starting place, no one could blame him.
However, Palmer’s time at Chelsea exceeded all expectations.
The striker joined for just £42m and has scored an incredible 23 goals in all competitions, including 20 in the Premier League.
This number puts him on par with Manchester City striker Haaland, meaning he should definitely be considered one of the most lethal strikers in world football.
Unfortunately for him, he will not receive any form of bonus based on the goals he scores for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Given the sheer amount of punching he’s done this class, there’s no doubt Palmer will be kicking himself for the disqualification.
