CBS Sports, Pluto TV Launch Champions League Soccer FAST Channel

CBS Sports has launched UEFA Champions League, a 24-hour broadcast channel featuring uninterrupted goals and highlights from matches of leading UEFA Champions League soccer clubs outside Europe. The FAST channel, featuring current season and historical game recaps, will launch for free on Pluto TV and on connected TVs through the CBS Sports app.

The launch comes as Paramount+ will continue to show live Champions League matches, with matches replayed on demand. Later this month, Champions League FAST will be available via the CBS Sports website and Paramount+.

“The UEFA Champions League represents the best football in the world, and this new channel provides fans with a permanent place to relive the special moments, exciting goals, iconic players and iconic clubs that define this unique tournament,” said Jeffrey Gertola, Executive Vice President of Digital at CNN. BS Sports, news, stations and entertainment, in a statement.

CBS Sports first acquired the rights to UEFA Champions League matches in 2020 after Turner Sports pulled the plug on its rights deal. Last year, the network launched CBS Sports Golazo as a free-to-air soccer streaming network.

A 24-hour live streaming channel, Champions League promises year-round programming from the world’s most popular soccer tournament, as CBS Sports delves into European soccer video.

News of the launch of Champions League FAST comes ahead of the 2024 Champions League final scheduled to take place on June 1 at Wembley Stadium in London.
